    “Recently a patient came in who had a blown out cavity on their lower right molar since 3 months ago. She saw a dentist & paid $400 for an exam and prescription. She couldn't afford the extraction. She said she was willing to drive 5 hours to any free or low-cost clinic for help. She drove about an hour to be seen at the clinic. With the help of Tijuana, we provided her the much needed help. These cases are the reasons we do what we do, and I could not be any less proud of this amazing team of volunteers and those who provide the grants.”

Smithville Community Clinic’s mission is to provide hope and healing to those without means. We continue to improve the quality of life in our community and support the health care needs of our patients. Today the clinic provides patient benefits, in addition to community benefits such as preventative healthcare education referrals, Licensed Professional Behavioral Health Counselors and Behavioral Health Advocates, Well Women's Clinics, Dental services and Volunteer Opportunities.

Qualifications include:

~ Minimum 50 years of age

~ No history or current breast issues

~ No cancer or breast implants

~ Not pregnant or breastfeeding
